Students from 10 universities from 4 countries will present their projects

On November 20, 2018, the jury will call the best young industrial designers and present them awards from manufacturing companies in the congress hall Yuzhny, the pavilion Forum, Expocenter, Moscow. The program also includes performances by famous designers and the presentation of book on the history and practice of industrial design.

The PUSHKA Forum is held for the third year in a row and for the second time it is in an international format, and every year the number of participating universities training in the specialty “industrial design” is growing. This year there are already ten of them: the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, the British Higher School of Design, Izmir University of Economics (Turkey), Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry, Moscow Polytech, NUST MISIS, Saint Petersburg State Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design, Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, Lahti University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

The Forum aims to promote the brand of Russian design, experience exchange, the expansion of professional ties between its participants, as well as the effective integration of the educational process into the actual production process.

Thus, as a result of PUSHKA 2017, AQUAPHOR, BUON APPETITO and OMOIKIRI invited the winners of the nominations for an internship, and Italian Elleci and the transportation company Traft plan to manufacture the projects of the winners.

• Surprisingly advanced (mixer tap design)
• Sarah Connor approves (home appliances)
• Transport design (unmanned vehicles)
• Quiet new classics (Kitchen hood)
• Water in the kitchen (kitchen sinks)

The projects are submitted until November 1, 2018. Then the expert council will select three finalist projects in each nomination, and it will be their presentations that the guests and participants of the Forum will see. At the end of the presentations, the authors of the best projects will be announced. They will receive valuable prizes and offers for internships from the companies.
