    Unconditional victory of international design

    The winners of the III International Industrial Design Innovations FORUM PUSHKA were announced at the Expocentre, Moscow.

    The FORUM is held for the third year in a row and each time the final is unexpected. One thing is invariable — the contestants always think relevantly, sharply, strategically and incredibly creatively. In the comments of partner companies, the rating of the projects is always “amazing.”

    Honored guests of the FORUM: Igor Vladimirovich Soppa, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Moscow Polytech; Natalia Yuryevna Terekhova, Deputy Head of the Industrial Design Department, Bauman Moscow State Technical University; Sergey Smirnov, Head of Smirnovdesign, Member of the Expert Club of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Director of the Center for Research and Innovation Development of the Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry and Sergey Helmyanov, Head of the Industrial Design Department at Saint Petersburg State Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design in their welcoming speeches unambiguously noted the role of the PUSHKA FORUM as a link between the industrial designer as a “student” and as a “professional”.

    After the official opening ceremony of the PUSHKA FORUM 2018 there were speeches by: Timur Bourbayev, ArtLebedev Studio Art Director; Angus Colvin, Product Design Programme Leader at the British Higher School of Art and Design and Max Kasymov, Designer, Head of MaxKasymov Interior / Design. Famous designers shared their practical experience with the students.

    The legendary Vladimir Runge became the special guest of the PUSHKA FORUM 2018, he commented on some stories about the creation of the famous Zenith cameras described in the book “Vladimir Runge: from Horizon to Zenith” by Olga Druzhinina, created with the participation of Shvabe Holding.

    Nomination by SOVTRANSAVTO “THE CONCEPT OF AN UNMANNED CAGRO VEHICLE/ TRANSPORT SYSTEM”:

    All pedestal belongs to Lahti University of Applied Sciences.
    • First place — Ruusu-Maria Laihonen, Anorico Adam Joaquin – with the grade “Brilliant foresight”
    • Second place — Esa Mustonen, Julias Ranta, Inka Tiikainen – with the grade “Curious technology”
    •Third place — Niklas Sandvall and Matias Pekkonen – with the grade “Original concept”

    Nomination by SOVAVTO “AUTONOMOUS PASSENGER VEHICLE”:

    • First place was shared between two projects: “Plus 50” by Ivan Voronovich (Belarusian State Academy of Arts) and a joint project by Alexander Kazantsev and Alexey Shtylev (Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design).
    • Second place – Oğulcan Aksan, project Xportation, (Izmir University of Economics, Turkey)

    Nomination by Eleсtrolux “SARAH CONNOR APPROVES” (home appliances):

    • First place — Victoria Goleva with a project from the future — insects home farm
    (Bauman Moscow State Technical University)
    • Second place — Elizaveta Prilutskaya (Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University)
    • Third place — Maria Polianitsa (Saint Petersburg State Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design)

    Nomination “FOOD TEMPLE”:

    Traditionally for this nomination each factory selects its own list of winners.
    • LORENA’S choice — the project of capsular micro-kitchen LO-LO by Tatiana Repina (Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry).
    • KUCHONIY DVOR’S choice — project “Kitchen Theater” by Ilya Bondar and Arseny Terentyev (Moscow Polytech).
    • DRIADA’S choice — project “Meetingpoint” by Anna Lychagina (Ural State University of Architecture and Art).
    • PERVAYA MEBELNAYA decided to share the prizes among Daniel Efimov (MISiS) and Olga Kurdyukova (Saint Petersburg State Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design).

    Nomination by Ligron “SMART, HYPER-SMART” (counter board):

    • First place — «ICE Light» by Darya Artamonova (Ural State University of Architecture and Art)
    • Second place — Vladislav Potapchik (Belarusian State Academy of Arts)

    Nomination by OMOIKIRI “SURPRISINGLY ADVANCED” (kitchen mixer taps):

    • First place — Vlada Barulina and Miraslava Pluzhnikova (Moscow Polytech);
    • Second place — Yegor Oralin and Polina Sukhodolskaya (Belarusian State Academy of Arts);
    • Third place — Marina Rudakova and Polina Nemchinova (Moscow Polytech).

    According to the results of the competition program, the Belarusian State Academy of Arts was unanimously recognized as The University of the Year.

    PUSHKA 2018 hit the target again! Soon there will be a new charge and many incredible projects.
